Well, you first have to invite them to be your facebook friend. Aceept them, go to your game screen then invite them to be your neighbors! Here, we have the "add me" http://gamersunite.coolchaser.com/games/gardens-of-time/addmes for friends. Yes, it does say dont ask for friends you dont actually know 
but you might need to rethink that one as we all need friends to play! People who respond will ask to be FB friends and the process will continue..hope this helps!
