For Every one using Michal's method and it does not work for you do this: bring up your farm in a separate window or tab and copy Michal's link to that window/tab and go from there with his method. That's what I did.

thank you, thank you, thank you, I was unable to find chat and so I have been emailing over the last 3 day(took 2 days before I heard from them) and they didn't seem to understand--but with this link I got through--waited about 15 min and I am very satisfied with the live rep.
It Is Still Working But A Long Wait . Deleted The Message From The message And Just Added The X Numbers ... Waiting since like 20+ mins
Worked great for me in Firefox, have live chat box for FV, Lots of Operator be with you shortly. Hope someone answers before I retire.
I personaly have never a problem with transferring too... but heard some people saying they weren't transfered. Also out of my experience it's quicker this way but it may be just that I don't like to bother ppl to transfer me and prefer go to Fv directly. Also while being transfered sometimes I have to wait 30 min without any response from chat which made me wonder if maybe something happened like disconnection etc... now at least I get that message "the agent will be with you shortly" every 3 or so minutes.
will try.. but ea is not showing up last 20 mins.. yes the other screen works.. sent email.. then went back EA and got live chat.. then went to farmville.. and yes.. farmville agent it works.. but i never have a problem with them transfering me to live chat farmville

Lately I'm not able to get FV chat at all and Zynga agents are less that helpful about this issue. But I have found a way to deal with it. This is short guide how to do so.
1. Click on this link: apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/support.php
2. Wait about 30-60s and check if the chat link appears
3. If not click on E&A support page
4. Wait for the chat link to appear (It have showed up every time I checked for the last month)
5. CTRL + Click on the FV support page and wait for it to load in the new tab.
6. Click on the E&A CHAT LINK
7. The new window that will appear will be for the FV chat not E&A
Sadly this may not work for ppl that never paid a dime to Zynga as it requires access to any chat... also I have used FF to use this trick and I have no idea if it will work on chrome or IE.
