I was threatened also and was really hurt and upset as the Neighbour and I were regular chatters. I found it hard to understand that my neighbour thought nothing of "custom"sending gifts to her favourites (of which i was one!)Yet because I used this GREAT Application, I was considered an outcast. I was upset and wanted to keep our online friendship so I deleted Gamers Unite, very really hear from her now anyway so what a twit I was giving in to her pressure. I have since re-loaded ( as you can see) the Application and once again take advantage of all that Gamers Unite offers me...So do not be bullied and check out the complaintants own ethics :)))

But that's very true, if someone deletes all the neighbours who use GU and snag bar, he will probably be left with 99% newbies with no horses and no trees, which will also be gradually deleted, as they discover new opportunities and start using forums like GU and snag bar. And then ask those newbies for trees and foals!

I too have had numerous neighbors threaten to delete me because I use GU. I like the site for many reasons and it keeps me up to date on a lot of issues and what is coming out. This is the only true site that I have never had any problems with. For those that want to delete me, I do the same thing, I save them the trouble, and remove them first. I also like to remind them that Zynga has a 'bonus game bar' which snags all the bonus' and items that come up, is this not also cheating????? Again, one selects the items that is needed, and once I have what I need, I remove the request from the options list. I also like to remind them that I like to collect trees, and in the past 2 years or so ( I started playing 3 months after the game was launched) I have collected over 20K in trees, approx 60k in watering cans, so I have turned just as many back to the home page for someone else to collect, what I gain from GU, I share with everyone else, so they have no room to 'squack' because they also share in the same rewards. When I remind them of this, it cools their heels and I dont hear anymore about, at least until a 'newbie' comes online. I have many friends who also joined. GU, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, LOVE UR SITE.

This issue is sad, yet funny. Have any of you all read the book. "Every Thing I Needed to Know, I Learned in the Sandbox"? Well as a primary school kid, the biggest retort of the time to any accusation was "takes one to know one" Soooooo let the speaker of judgment beware...........

I had 1 friend delete me, but I had 10 others waiting in the wings to become my neighbour, so when they threaten me about GU I delete them. But I only 2 people so far, but the people who asked me about it, actually joined.

I don't see how using the snag bar is cheating, we don't get EVERYTHING that's posted anyway. You can set it to where it only gets what you need. So it's no different than going to someone's wall or the feed to get what you need or want. Most of the things I get are posts that are from hours before. So I am pretty much getting what is left over. People that think this is cheating have NO clue what they are talking about or how it even works. How is it fair when people keep refreshing someone's page as they are posting trees to make sure they get them? How is it fair when people post things to certain people and not for everyone to have a fair chance. These two-faced people (who most likely do certain things to make farming easier for them) need to research and find out the TRUTH before accusing someone of cheating. I wouldn't want a neighbor that acts like that anyway. A LOT of people need to remember that this is just a FUN GAME and NOT real life!!!

This is partial message from a new neighbor / friend who has a way of getting and giving 2 or 3 gift requests and thinks that's not cheating but this is: and it goes to mention bonus checkers etc.

ive also had ppl threaten to delete me so i just posted on my wall for everyone who felt the same to remove me immediately as i will not remove GU, turns out i had several supporters of my right to do as i pleased & that person dropped the subject & is still a regular gaming nabor to me. i didnt sign up because of a snagbar or "cheats" that might be posted. i signed up for the ease of separating my feeds by game type & the interesting discussions . just a few hrs ago i had a friend post that everyone using snagbars are "stealing" items not meant for them from their pages & calling for her friends to standup & help put a stop to these cheaters. i told them thats not possible as i have seen the snagbar in progress & then was shown how it only collects what is open to anyone not the stuff posted that is 1 person directly to another that is not them when i was also a skeptic as to whether it "took" from others( i NEVER threatened to unfriend someone for using it, everyone is free to do as they plz as last i checked this was still a free country!). noone who had previously responded to her post including her has bothered to respond to what i said. so annoying that they want to get on their high horse & dog what they havent even bothered to find out the truth about.................

yes i had someone defriend me and send me a message calling me a cheater...the way i see it snag bar saves me time i would not have to sit on the feed

I don't know if I've ever had anyone to delete me because of using GU but I say, they luck out on any re-gifts that I send out. So many people condemn others & have forgotten that we have a right also. It's a shame that some will judge others so harshly over a game......of all the tragedy in the world today, I'd voice my opinion on those things instead of worrying about who doesn't play a game the way someone thinks they should. I will continue to use GU & there are tons of good people on that site to add that can make up for the over righteous ones when we are talking about a simple game.
